Ullington in Lettuce
Inspired by an 18th Century French block printed fabric, Ullington is a stylised floral pattern of carnations and a meandering trail of leaves set on a background of small dots or pointillage – a typical print technique used at the time to add a soft tint of colour to the ground and I suspect provide a forgiving cover for any unintended misprints.
Printed by hand, Ullington is available as both a printed linen and a wide width wallpaper.
